About Lake Oswego Women's Club

Who We Are

Lake Owego Women's Club (LOWC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1974. We are a group of women with diverse talents and backgrounds. Our common bond: We care about building a stronger community. As a result of our fundraising, we are honored to support local nonprofit organizations. LOWC welcomes women regardless of race, color, national origin, age, disability, marital status, religion, or sexual orientation. LOWC is open to women from our neighboring communities.

What We Do

'Women joining together to enrich lives in our community' is our mission.

Through our grant program, LOWC funds nonprofit organizations in the Portland metro area, the majority of which focus on improving the lives of women and children. LOWC’s scholarship program awards scholarships to college-bound youth who have shown a continued commitment to community service.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is the Lake Run in Lake Oswego. All of the net proceeds of the Lake Run and other fund-raising events are given to our grant and scholarship recipients.

Since 1974, we have raised and donated over 2 million dollars to local charities.

Join Us!

We invite women of all ages who live in Lake Oswego and neighboring communities to join us and further our efforts. We encourage you to contact our membership team at membership@lowomensclub.org to learn more about joining our organization. We typically meet once per month and our meetings are open to those interested in learning more about our organization.
