Grants and Scholarships

Since 1974, the Lake Oswego Women’s Club (LOWC) has raised over $2 million in funds which are dispersed to local non-profits to build a stronger community. Thanks to our annual fundraising events, LOWC is able to provide a number of grants each year to various Portland metro-area non-profits, the majority of which support women and children in need. Each year, LOWC considers it’s grant guidelines, grant-making priorities and estimated fundraising income for the year when determining whether to have an open grant application process.

If you feel your organization falls within our area of giving and would like to be considered for a future grant cycle, visit the Grant Application page.

To recognize and encourage the spirit of community service, the Lake Oswego Women’s Club sponsors several scholarship awards for outstanding community service to high school seniors. Each award includes a one-time monetary payment of a minimum of $1,000 made directly to the recipient’s college or university.
